WHAT WE DO

Our Concrete Services

Professional truecoat concrete sealing being done in Colorado

Concrete Sealing

Creates a protective barrier that repels moisture, resists oil, blocks UV damage, and extends the life of your concrete significantly. Protection against Colorado's freeze-thaw cycle.

Concrete Tinting & Coloring

Add a custom color to match your home's exterior scheme or complement your landscaping. The color is applied directly to the concrete and sealed in place, giving you a finished result that is beautiful and protected.

Concrete Staining

Penetrates the surface to create rich, variegated look that resembles stone or tile. The most aesthetic option - requires periodic maintenance to keep it looking its best year-round.

WHERE WE WORK

Surfaces We Work On

Driveways

Vehicle weight, oil drips, road salts, and Colorado's freeze-thaw cycles make driveways the most vulnerable concrete surface. Sealing is the most practical investment you can make.

Patios

One of the most visible exterior spaces on your property. Seal and protect, add color to match your home, or transform it completely with a stain finish.

Garage Floors

Exposed to oil, chemicals, and daily vehicle traffic. A sealed garage floor is easier to clean, more resistant to staining, and significantly better looking.

Walkways & Pathways

Front walkways are often the first thing guests see. Cracked or faded concrete undermines even a beautifully painted house. We seal, color, and stain walkways to match.

HOW IT WORKS

Our Prep and Application Process

The quality of prep determines how long the result lasts. We never skip it.

① Consultation and Surface Assessment

We walk the surface, assess condition, identify cracks, oil staining, and failing sealer. We discuss your goals and recommend the right service. Clear itemized estimate before any work begins.

② Pressure Washing

Full professional pressure wash removes dirt, mold, oil residue, and failing sealer. Skipping this is the number one reason concrete sealers fail early. Surface must be fully dry before we proceed.

③ Crack and Divot Repair

Minor cracks and surface imperfections are filled and leveled before any product is applied. We are transparent about the difference between minor repair and structural damage.

④ Application

Sealer, stain, or color is applied using the correct method for the product and surface. Even coverage, correct film thickness, proper drying time. We follow specifications exactly.

⑤ Final Inspection and Cleanup

Thorough walkthrough with you once work is complete. Full cleanup. Care and maintenance instructions specific to your surface and product – including cure times for foot and vehicle traffic.

COLORADO-SPECIFIC

Why Colorado Homeowners Should Seal Their Concrete

UV Exposure at Altitude

Denver’s elevation means UV is significantly more intense than at sea level. Unsealed concrete fades and degrades faster than most homeowners expect.

Freeze-Thaw Cycles

Water penetrates unsealed concrete, freezes, expands, and pushes the surface apart from the inside. A proper sealer stops this cycle before it starts.

Oil and Chemical Penetration

Driveways and garage floors absorb oil, gasoline, and road salts. Once it soaks in it is extremely difficult to remove. Sealed surfaces repel these contaminants entirely.

Weed and Vegetation Growth

Moisture in concrete joints creates the perfect environment for weeks to take root – pushing cracks wider over time. Sealing eliminates the moisture that allows this to happen.

WHICH ONE IS RIGHT FOR YOU

Sealing, Staining, or Coloring?

Choose Sealing If...

You want to protect your concrete without changing how it looks. Best for driveways, garage floors, and walkways where protection is the primary goal.

Choose Tinting If...

You want to add a custom color to match your home’s exterior or complement your landscaping. You get both aesthetic upgrade and protective benefits in one service.

Choose Staining If...

You want a rich, natural, variegated look that resembles stone or tile. The most dramatic aesthetic option – requires ongoing maintenance to stay looking its best.

LONG-TERM CARE

Maintenance Expectations

We are upfront with every clinet about what their finished surface needs long-term.

Sealed Concrete

Reseal every 2-5 years

Annual visual inspection recommended. Reseal when water stops beading on the surface. Routine pressure washing or garden hose is all the maintenance needed in between.

Tinted & Colored Concrete

Reseal every 2-3 years

Mirrors the maintenance schedule of sealed concrete. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners which can strip the sealer and dull the color over time.

Choose Staining If...

Reseal every 1-3 years

The most maintenance-intensive option. May require periodic touch-ups in high-traffic areas. We walk every client through a specific care plan before the job is complete.

FAQ - Common Questions

Here are some questions we often get from our clients about concrete sealing and staining.
How long does concrete sealing take?

Most residential sealing projects are completed in one day. The surface needs 24-48 hours before foot traffic and 72 hours before vehicle traffic while it cures.

A minimum of 28 days. Sealing fresh concrete before it fully cures traps moisture inside and causes the sealer to fail. We will advise you on timing during the consultation.

In many cases yes – but it requires additional prep including a degreaser treatment and thorough pressure washing. Success depends on how deeply the oil has penetrated and how long it has been there.

Absolutely – and this is one of our most popular combinations. Bundling exterior painting with concrete work gives you a fully coordinated exterior refresh with one contractor, one project manager, and one schedule.

Yes. All TrueCoat concrete work comes with a written workmanship warranty covering application defects and premature failure due to workmanship. Terms are clearly outlined in your proposal before work begins.
