Who Is Meoded Paint & Plaster?
Meoded Paint & Plaster was founded in 2002 by Shlomi Meoded and formulates and manufactures its products in Los Angeles. The company describes itself as the sole U.S. manufacturer of authentic lime-based, zero-VOC liquid plasters. Its line includes lime-based Venetian and concrete plasters, limewash, microcement, clay plaster, and metallic and specialty finishes, used in homes, restaurants, and hotels. Why Does Certification Matter for Plaster Finishes?
Lime plaster and limewash behave very differently from regular paint. They’re applied by hand in thin, layered passes, often with a trowel or brush, and the final look depends on technique: how the material is laid on, how it’s burnished, and how layers are timed as they cure. In Colorado’s dry air, that timing matters even more.
Manufacturer training means our crew knows how each Meoded product should be prepped, applied, and finished, which helps you get the depth, movement, and durability these finishes are known for.

- Can I see photos of real jobs you finished, not stock images?
- Which brand of lime products do you use, and are you trained on it?
- Will I get a written estimate before work starts?
- How do you prep the wall and protect my floors and furniture?
- How do you adjust the process for dry Colorado air?
A good applicator answers all five without hesitating.
- Limewash usually costs about two to three times regular interior paint.
- Roman clay costs more than limewash because it is troweled.
- Venetian plaster and microcement cost the most, often about double limewash, because of the layers and the skill involved.
The real price depends on wall size, ceiling height, surface condition, prep and the number of coats. We give every client a clear written estimate after seeing the wall in person.
